Exercises For Men To Achieve Toned Abs

Men like to have a toned body, especially the stomach and pectorals, which are divided into pectoralis major and the minor and are the two main components of the chest muscles.

Working that part of our body is important to tone and strengthen that area. Here are the exercises you should do to get it:

Exercises For Men To Achieve Toned Abs

1. Lie on your back on a bench.

With the help of a training partner or trainer, grab the bar with a prone grip, with a slightly wider opening than the shoulders.

Slowly lower the bar until you almost reach your chest, and at that moment, exhale and push the weight up, to the starting position. Don’t arch your back, let your chest do the job.

2. Make chest openings with weights.

Lie on your back on a bench with a dumbbell in each hand and grab them with a prone grip. Use half the weight you used in the bench press. Push up until your arms are straight. Turn them until the palms are facing each other and join the palms.

From this initial position, lower the arms by opening them outwards, keeping the angle of the elbows. Keep going sideways until the weights reach your chest level. Exhale and bring the dumbbells to the starting position strongly, but in a controlled manner.

3. Adjust your diet.

Eating smaller meals throughout the day increases your metabolism and stabilizes energy levels and appetite. Also, include high-quality protein in your diet, such as lean red meat, eggs, chicken and fish.

Also brown rice, oatmeal, and whole grains. Avoid packaged, processed products, sugar and white flour.

4. Perform physical activity constantly.

Practice at least 30 minutes of physical activity such as: running, cycling or team sports, at least 3 times per week.
